Community Car Scheme

Recent funding support from Derbyshire County Council and NHS Commissions has enabled CT4TC to expand a Community Car Scheme from a well tested service in Amber Valley, to additionally cover Chesterfield, Bolsover and North East Derbyshire.

Volunteer car owners underpin the service which enables those with a range of access problems to get to health and well-being facilities.

In addition, at the request of Derbyshire County Council, in January 2013 we took over the management of Ashover Car Scheme.

This is a taxi-type service aimed at assisting those who have problems accessing conventional taxis.

Supported by Derbyshire County Council, this provides a door to door service with wheel-chair accessible buses primarily for Gold Card holders to enable them to access local towns, shops and health centres.

Group Hire

This service is aimed at bona-fide affiliated community groups, who require safe, affordable and accessible transport.

Contract Hire

On-going contract bookings, for local authorities.

Coach Trips

We have a comfortable 49 seat fully wheel-chair accessible coach aimed at assisting community groups to get out and about in comfort and at affordable prices.

A distinct benefit is the ability for this vehicle to carry passengers in wheel-chairs and stow mobility scooters on board.
